Mastering (audio mastering, online mastering or eMastering) is the last point in the processing chain after recording, producing and mixing in the recording studio before your song or audio material is released.
Whether it’s stereo or stem mastering, mastering requires a good, trained ear to give your project the final polish. The understanding of professional metering and the handling of different file formats is also a very important quality of a mastering engineer.

FAQ Stereo Mastering
Mastering (also audio mastering) is the (artistic) final processing of sound recordings and the last step of music production before the creation of the recorded sound carrier.
In the mastering process, the mastering engineer usually receives a mix of the track as a stereo file, which he imports into his DAW (digital audio workstation). Here he first gets an overview of the sound, as well as the technical and musical state of the song.
